HELLO ALL....
Do you remember way back when I first started to knit?
Well.....I finally finished my striped blanket.
After sitting in the basket for months, I thought it was high time I completed it.
Nothing special at all with this one.
Just knit and knit all the way across throughout the whole thing until it gets to a decent size. Using up scraps of yarn from previous blankets until the ball runs out. Change colors and carry on. The only thing I was undecided on was the border. I couldn't make up my mind on which way to go so it doesn't have one, as of yet.
Thanks for all the wonderful little notes you all have been leaving me lately. I so appreciate all your kindness. My email isn't working so if you haven't received a reply to your little note, please forgive me. I've also noticed I have a few new followers, I love that you wished to join in so please make yourself Welcome and look around.
Lots of changes have been going on on the old blog. Changing layouts and headers seem to be taking place but we think we finally got it where we want it.
Trying to keep it looking simple has been my plan.
Have a lovely Sunday.
xx
Simple but efficient. What sweet colours! Like so much.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and colorful! I love the simplicity of a garter stitch blanket. I have one tucked away somewhere. :)

DeleteHi Shari! I love how your blanket turned out! Such pretty colours! I've knitted a number of garter stitch scarves, very relaxing to do! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm currently crocheting a very big Harlequin blanket (you can see it on my blog), and I'm working very hard to get it finished!!
