Knitting

Hello everyone!  Happy New Year to you all. This is my first post to the new year here on my blog. I've made a few changes with it yet again, to give a fresh new look also a fresh new start. It's funny how at the beginning of a new year, we all want to start things with a more better prospective than we have been doing thus so far. I do, however, have a few ideas swimming around above and will do my very very best to do keep everything on track. Now, I am not going to write it in "stone" because I am the worst person to keep plans, much less to any New Year's resolutions.....so lets just say," I will do my best.!"

Lately, I've been trying my hand at knitting again. This time a knitted hat. Actually, the rim is crochet cause I started out thinking I wanted it crochet, but once I finished the rim, I wanted to knit.  Instead of ripping it all out, I just picked up stitches around the edge with a circular needle and off I went. Loving it so much better....I really am

  1. Very pretty Shari. I love crochet but I have to say knitting is my favorite of all times. Love the hat. I made several hats this holiday season and I love all of them. I haven't had much time to post but I will be trying to do so this weekend..have a wonderful New Year Shari.

  2. Its so pretty Shari - and it goes without saying I LOVE the colour, I've really enjoyed going back to a bit of knitting too recently. Tts good to be able to combine the two isn't it, I made some hot water bottle covers that are both knitted and crocheted :

  4. You are so clever! I have not tried to switch from crochet to knitting, but you have beautifully and I love the gray as well. I hope to cast on a cowl today with some alpaca silk silvery gray I purchased just before Christmas. xx
